Downloaders

Downloaders transfer data from THE PIPE to your PC. We offer three types of downloaders:

The Direct Downloader

The Direct Downloader connects directly to your PC's serial port.

The Mobile Downloader

The Mobile Downloader downloads data from THE PIPE and stores it for later transfer to a PC. It can be powered from an automobile's cigarette lighter. This makes it ideal for security supervisors who need to visit officers on site and retrieve their tour data.

The Modem Downloader

The Modem Downloader downloads from one or more PIPEs and stores the data for later transfer to a PC via modem. It is ideal for security firms or corporate security departments where officers are off-site or distant from the security office.

Buttons

THE PIPE reads touch buttons, which have several uses. Mounted around a building or facility, they serve as stations or checkpoints. Buttons identify the officer performing the tour. When defined as incident buttons, they can be used to note maintenance or security items such as an unlocked door or broken window.
