When attempting to print or preview a Guard1 Plus report you receive the following error:

 

 

Cause

 

Resolution

Restart the PC and try again.

 

If the error recurs:

  1. Close all open programs.
  2. Right-click the MSSQLServer icon in the System Tray.
  3. Select Open SQL Server Service Manager.
  4. Click the Services drop-down and select SQL Server.
  5. Click Start/Continue (if available).
  6. Verify that the Auto-start service when OS starts box is checked.
  7. Click the Services drop-down and select Distributed Transaction Controller.
  8. Click Start/Continue (if available).
  9. Verify that the Auto-start service when OS starts box is checked.
  10. Click the Services drop-down and select SQL Server Agent.
  11. Click Start/Continue (if available).
  12. Verify that the Auto-start service when OS starts box is checked.
  13. Close the SQL Server Service Manager window by clicking the X at the top right of the window.
