The Guard1 Proof of Presence Platform
Guard1 is a proof of presence platform that works with correctional agencies to provide electronic proof of presence and maximize safety through four modules:
● Corrections - Wellness Checks, Cell Checks, Suicide Watch
THE PIPE is an easy to learn and use wand system that requires touching the tip of The PIPE to a metal memory button on the wall to document that rounds were completed by staff.

Staff use a mobile device as a digital logbook, recording all of their checks and activities on the device.
The mobile device provides a task list of all of the checks and activities that need to be completed by the staff.
They scan a mixture of RFID Wall Tags mounted throughout the facilities and/or individual wearables, such as wristbands or ID badges.
Replaces:
● Corrections - Officer, Civilian Staff, Visitor Wearable Panic Buttons, Man Down
Staff and visitors alike wear duress devices that transmit a signal once per second, providing a real- time location.
In the event of an incident, they can press the button on the duress device and it will signal their real-time location to supervisors to allow for a prompt response.
The duress device signals are captured through receivers connected by cabling that runs throughout the facility.
Replaces:
● Corrections - Real-Time Inmate and Youth Tracking
Individuals wear Guard1 wristbands that transmit a signal once per second, providing real-time location updates and a comprehensive log of individual movement.
Additionally, there are asset tags that can be placed on important pieces of equipment - such as keys, kitchenware like knives, medical equipment, and more.
The beacon tag signals are captured through receivers connected by cabling that runs throughout the facility.
